He began dictating poetry at the early age of fifteen when he had to kill his beloved dog, Strata, based on the dogs suffering illness. Enck lived in a massive old house in the deep woods of the mountains in Ephrata, where at the mountains base a legendary haunted hospital remained in the tales of people residing in Ephrata. Ironically, the house was torn down when Enck left Ephrata in 1996. Enck moved to Delaware and discovered his most prized possession, his wife Johnna. Jane Timm Baxter
Imagine, if you will, that Edgar Allen Poe and Emily Dickinson had a daughter, and out emerges Jane Timm Baxter, visual artist, author, mystic and poet. Born in the spring of 1976 with a magickal streak, she grew up surrounded by bright fairies and dark elves close at hand, first in the warm climate of south Florida, where her spirit began metamorphosing, like a phoenix rising from the flames of damnation, as the forces of light and darkness began their dance of destiny for the control of her soul. Forever searching for spiritual and arcane expressions, she has lived her life creating tales of unknown forces and composing poetry from beyond the veil of survival. At the end of 2002, darkness exploded into the life of Jane in the form of an extremely severe chronic pain disorder, which completely crippled her life in every way imaginable. Jane has preserved through this darkness and continues to pursue her passion for writing. Her official website is: www.cearajaen.com. ------------------------------------------------------------- Liz DeJesus was born on February 23rd, 1982 on the tiny island of Puerto Rico. Delaware's Wade Messer has immersed himself in the thrilling works of authors Dean Koontz, John Saul and James Patterson for years. With his own style of horror has followed their sometimes twisted paths with the release of his first novel, The Uninvited. Messer with his easy laugh and bright blue eyes, hardly seems a candidate for a horror novelist. And wasn't for years. The Caesar Rodney class of 1979 graduate always knew he wanted to write, but started off with something easier: transcription. As a young man, Messer got a typewriter as a gift, and was content to transcribe the 1970s supernatural television series Kolchak: The Night Stalker into print with his typewriter. The avid reader said his passion for supernatural stories and writing continued but took a back seat to four years in the Army, raising his family and later working as a plumber. The Uninvited is the first book of six in The Uninvited series. And yes not unlike J. K. Rowling, he knows how the series will end. But he's not telling.

Horror author, Cassandra Lee, was born January 7, 1971 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. From an early age, she was fascinated with the horror genre. She attributes her first plunge into the dark depths with Stephen King's book and movie Carrie. After moving to Winnipeg, Manitoba with her family, she focused her schooling around creative writing. Over the years, several teachers told the budding novelist she had a gift that was populated with the deepest recesses of a person's fears. Entering college, she focused her talents on journalism. However, for a period of time, she put aside this career in favor of fronting a Toronto rock band in the early nineties. After gaining some notoriety with this band, she found herself to still be missing something though, and after relocating West, she rediscovered her one true love - writing. Now living in Alberta, Canada with her three children, she has currently finished her first novel, Darkness Springs and is nearing completion of her second novel The Raising. She has two short story anthologies currently in the works and has been published in magazines and online E-Zines. Cassandra Lee holds true to the ideal that people need to be scared. Our inborn nature makes us creatures of survival. Fear creates a perfect environment for our growth. It provides a natural stimuli that lets us know we are alive and will continue to exist if we can overcome all that threatens us. -------------------------------------------------------------
Joseph McGee was born on July 7th, 1985 in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he currently resides in a subtle three-bedroom apartment, shared only by himself and his four cats.
Freshman year of high school, Joe started to write short stories for his English class, and what was supposed to me a ten-page media tie-in short story, turned out to be thirty-seven pages long, and was based off of, at the time, Resident Evil: Survivor.
After scoring high marks, he believed the best thing to do was to pursue a world of vivid imagination, which later became dedication, though some see it as an obsession.
And most people would agree that his decision proved to be a wise one.

An original short-fiction for his English class assignment also received high marks, and years letter was turned into a novella, Pictures/Photos, which was released on limited edition CD-Rom in October 2002 and now will be a forthcoming release in a limited edition softcover, and is also now in a scriptwriting phase for a motion picture option.
At age 22, he now has a five-year career in the literature field, writing short stories, novellas, novels and being an editor of a winter-themed horror anthology by Magus Press (forthcoming). His first novel, In the Wake of the Night was released in trade paperback in October 2006.
